So my production order re-watch of Alias’ fourth season is complete.  In hindsight I can say that, yes, watching it in this order does make a difference.  Viewing the season in airing order does not significantly alter the plot, nor will it severely detract from the season arc as a whole, but - as so often is the case - it’s the little things that make all the difference and the production order definitely makes for a smoother, more thematically coherent season.  If anyone’s interested in hearing specifics, feel free to ask and I will be glad to offer my thoughts.  All in all it has been fun revisiting the season from a new perspective.
