The Marvel character Quicksilver has been in the news a lot recently because Joss Whedon plans …NOTE: I could honestly see him do the role justice but I seriously think also Marvel and Fox could gain ALOT by joining together
I am all for this, both the casting and the idea of Marvel and Fox using the same actor for Quicksilver (and also Scarlet Witch) in their respective franchises.
Come to think of it, this news - coupled with the rumors that Saoirse Ronan might be playing Scarlet Witch in The Avengers 2 - lead me to think that this all might be a possibility. I can definitely see her and Evan playing siblings.
Still one of my most-treasured possessions. In 2004, a friend and I went to Comic Con to attend an autograph signing for Alias. Rather than a set of DVDs, I brought my copy of “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”, which was very obviously a huge influence on the show. Everyone there signed it and J.J. started to hand it back to me, but then pulled it back in. He turned to page 47 and drew a smiley face. That was a good day.
